PawChief is a consumer software service that helps pet owners organize reminders,
routines, supplies, records, expenses, photos, and general care information. By using PawChief,
you agree to use it for personal planning and organization only.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the pet profile, reminder, record, and routine information you enter.
- PawChief may change, pause, or discontinue features as the product develops.
- You may not use PawChief for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or security-testing activity without permission.
- PawChief is provided as-is and may contain errors, missing data, or incomplete information.
Privacy Policy
PawChief is operated by Hearthwise LLC, doing business as PawChief. PawChief is designed to collect
only the information needed to help organize pet care, household handoffs, reminders, records, photos,
supplies, expenses, and AI-assisted pet-care questions.

Information we may collect
- Account and contact details, such as name, email address, login details, and household member names.
- Pet profile details, such as pet name, breed or type, age, weight, food, allergies, medications, special care, and vet or clinic details.
- Care activity you enter, including daily tasks, calendar events, notes, supplies, expenses, uploaded documents, and photos.
- AI questions and related pet profile context used to make PawChief AI responses more relevant.
- Basic device, usage, analytics, and payment-related information needed to run, improve, secure, and bill for the service.
How we use information
- To provide PawChief features, including daily care tracking, shared household coordination, reminders, records, photos, expenses, and pet profiles.
- To personalize the product using the details you choose to provide about your pets and household.
- To support PawChief AI responses, while keeping AI responses informational and not a substitute for professional veterinary care.
- To process subscriptions, respond to support requests, send service notices, improve the product, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Third-party services
- Payments should be handled by a third-party provider such as Stripe; PawChief should not store full card details.
- Analytics, hosting, email, notification, storage, support, and AI providers may process information only as needed to provide PawChief.
- PawChief does not intend to sell personal information or use third-party advertising inside the product.

AI and Veterinary Disclaimer
PawChief is not a veterinarian, veterinary clinic, emergency service, pharmacy, or medical device.
PawChief may provide general pet-care organization, reminders, and AI-assisted informational responses,
but it does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace professional veterinary advice.
- For urgent symptoms, poisoning, injury, breathing issues, severe pain, seizures, collapse, or sudden behavior changes, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital immediately.
- Do not delay professional care because of information shown in PawChief.
- AI responses may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always verify health decisions with a qualified veterinarian.
- Breed-aware recommendations are general planning aids, not individualized medical instructions.
Subscription and Refund Terms
PawChief may offer paid subscriptions in the future. Pricing, trial length, billing cadence, and included
features will be shown before payment.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
- Users should be able to cancel through account settings or by contacting support once billing is live.
- Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods unless required by law or stated in a specific offer.
- If PawChief offers a free trial, billing begins after the trial unless the subscription is canceled before the trial ends.
- Payment processing should be handled by a third-party processor such as Stripe; PawChief should not store full card details.
Data Deletion and Retention
PawChief should let users control their information. Account data should be deletable on request.
- Users may request deletion of account, pet profile, uploaded record, photo, and waitlist information.
- Some limited data may be retained when needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, billing, security, or backup purposes.
- Production backups may take a reasonable period to expire even after active account data is deleted.
- Users should be able to contact PawChief support for access, correction, export, or deletion requests.
